Welcome to Monument Hill Church (MHC)!
God is GROWING a healthy, Biblical church for His glory and our joy in Christ! We are Going and Making Disciples! We have a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples in Christ! Come join us as the Lord leads.
MHC has been through a wonderful rebirth. In September of 2011, Pastor Tom Clemmons was called to lead us spiritually. In June of 2015, the church transitioned to a Plurality of Elders, and we were blessed to have Rich Long and Guy Varland join Pastor Tom in shepherding the flock at MHC. The Lord also brought two more Elders to us in the Spring of 2017, Matt Althouse and Gary Long! In January of 2017, the Lord led Pastor Gary Long (no relation to Rich, except they are "Brothers in Christ") to us to serve as our Assistant Pastor. He brings over 40 years of administrative and church educational ministry experience to our staff. And in May of 2018, the church affirmed John Hartshorn as our 6th Elder. By the grace of God our church family continues to grow, from about 20 people in 2011 to over 170 today.
We are a warm fellowship in the Tri-Lakes area that includes people from all walks of life, because the Gospel of Jesus Christ is GOOD NEWS for all. At Monument Hill Church we love God and we love people. We preach and teach the whole counsel of God, and we believe the Bible from cover to cover. We are imperfect yet striving to be more like Christ each day! Our Elder's vision is to shepherd a Baptist church that is God-centered, Christ-exalting, Bible-saturated, and Spirit-led. ALL four of those truths are emphasized at MHC.
We have a passion for missions and evangelism! We are a Southern Baptist Church (SBC) that links arms and hearts with other Baptists (and like-minded Christians) here in Colorado and around the world in order to reach more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
MHC offers several opportunities for worship and ministry for people of all ages, from infants through adults. We'd love to get to know you and have the privilege of sharing Christ's love with you!
If you have ever driven on I-25, you've probably seen the huge cross in front of our church. It is there as a testimony to all who see it that we are people of the Cross. We seek to follow God's call to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily and follow Him! You are welcome to join us in this godly pursuit.
Join us this Sunday...come treasure God with us!
